the very first popular music recording. he was playing at the covered bench area on landis where guitarists seem to flock and i approached him and asked if i could record him. i had no clue what i was doing. originally i planned to ask strangers to sing and then digitally affect their voices to make them harmonize with him, but strangers never sang.

at the end you can hear this guy who loved Lil B and who had recently broke up with his underage girlfriend complaining about something. he's the person i remember most from the party. he was the first person i ever heard talk about Lil B, and later that night, at another new years party, someone played Lil B and danced to it. I didnt know it was the same musician until years later

near the end of my senior year i was in the williams courtyard when i overheard flute from somewhere. i trailed it thru the building and found a literary event with a flute player, who i recorded briefly

Sam thinks he's Bob Dylan. once i saw him play an acoustic show at railroad square first friday and if i didnt know him personally i would have assumed it was a comedy impersonation act. he was/is is FSUs film school, and makes college art films.
